yesterday i bought a palmerio's book about "politica economica", i have read the first pages and i think that it it's very clear and accurate.
is there somebody that has read it?what are your opinion?

hi, veronica...I have a great doubt...
i was reading the little book (compendio) published by simone's edition and i couldn't understand anything....instead, a friend of mine told me that palmerio's book about "politica economica" is really clear and simple... i see that you think so...but i ask you: how many pages is it? I don't know if i should buy it (...so, paper on paper...and my room will crash...) or not...
what do you think about it?

voglio tranquillizzare gli "aficionados"sull'assenza da 4 giorni di "fulsere" dal web. sono andato a trovarlo oggi a casa per l'ennesima operazione congiunta di fotocopie e mi ha detto che il pc è in avaria (scheda madre)
ha aggiunto che la diagnosi era :error caz fulsere in english language.
è stata stroncata dai troppi errori in inglese che doveva subire: non è bastato il soccorso di un certo a..., ha riferito il tecnico.
io, per non correre lo stesso rischio, questa c. l'ho scritta in italiano...
ciao cumpà non te la prendere scherziamo ogni tanto altrimenti altro che crazy...qua sò c....!!!!

A solution for disguising possible orthographic mistakes might be to write in a bad handwriting, doesn't it?

xAngonscia: I wouldn't recommend this strategy. Good handwriting is always recommended by commissions before the beginning of foreign language tests. In any case, dibious cases are generally considered mistakes.

secondo voi c'è qualche possibilità che la terza prova consista nella "unione di parti o elementi in una unità" piuttosto che che in un "atto di comporre il testo"?

perchè nell'avviso hanno usato due diversi termini? lo so che possono essere usati come sinomini e che mi sto arrampicando sugli specchi comunque....

I am of the opinion that writing US English verbal expression might be considered a mistake. Aren't you?

i suppose that if we use US english, it might be considered as a mistake...even if the roules that they wrote on the advice, doesn't specify if we have to speak in Us English or UK English...
anyway. I think that it would be a miracle if I'll be able to write a composition about actualities' issues in english...both in us or in uk english!

About the suggestion of bad handwriting (that for me won't be a big challenge), i don't think either it's a good idea.
Imagine being the professor in your study, it's eight pm you are hungry, bored and annoyed and still have to read 400 compositions.
Then you find a word unclear that looks like a bug smashed on the paper... what would be the simplest solution ?? ERROR ERROR ERROR
Always remember that the ones who will correct our exams (or compositions) will have very little patience, and for them the simplest thing to do is putting a bad mark and pass by.

I hope my italenglish is comprehensible.

Ragazzi,

che ne dite di presentare alla Commissione una petizione per l'abolizione della terza prova?
Sotto la condizione che, i vincitori del concorso, si obblighino a passare dopo il corso SSPA un anno alle Bahamas per imparare bene l'inglese.
Ovviamente, chi ha scelto il francese può optare per la Polinesia o le Mauritius.

But the rules of the competition cannot be changed after it has begun, because there could be many competitors who speak and write the language very well: they would surely not accept any changes concerning the third examination

The more I think about this examination the more I'm astonished. They would require a knowledge of English such that one could write a composition without any dictionary...Is it reasonable? I believe it isn't. Of course one must be able to deal with arguments he could read on English papers too, and to speak a fair English, but writing that composition seems to be something too difficult.
Maybe that, as someone suggested, it will be based on a paper they previously let us read... The difference between the words "composizione" and "componimento" pointed up by someone can be relevant in your opinion?

Does someone know what happened in the last examination of the SSPA, a few years ago? There was also an English examination? Perhaps, to know them could help us :)

Dal combinato disposto del bando di concorso "possono essere usati i testi di legge non commentati" (art. 7, comma 5) e del diario della prova "Non sarà consentito lâ��uso di alcun vocabolario, nemmeno di quello monolingua"...
.. considerato che non c'è scritto da nessuna parte che i codici devono essere in italiano... non si potrebbe concludere che è lecito portare un codice in inglese?
Credo che un codice dell'unione europea in inglese si possa trovare.. o qls altra cosa. Sarà pure un paese di commn law... ma qualcosa di scritto c'è, no? Avere una qls cosa scritta in inglese, sarebbe un aiuto non indifferente per l'ortografia! lo stesso dicasi per i francesisti...

è una interpretazione palesemente contraria allo spirito del bando.
La ratio della norma concorsuale da te citata è chiaramente quella di mettere alla prova le capacità linguistiche dei candidati senza l'ausiglio di alcun supporto, di qualunque genere.
L'interpretazione logica, come tu ben sai, ci aiuta a capirte quello che letteralmente la norma non dice espressamente, ma implicitamente in base a diversi parametri interpretativi, tra cui, appunto, la "causa" (nel senso di funzione) assegnata da chi pone in essere la norma.
Nel caso tu voglia tentare un simile azzardo ti porresti nelle condizioni si essere esclusa dalla selezione per infrazione al regolamento. Conviene correre un tale rischio?
